Table Saw Question
« on: August 22, 2010, 11:05:20 AM »
What HP should I get one in??  A 3HP or 5HP?  I want to do it right the first time.  Also, this is for standard 220 electric not 3 phase.   Thanks---Jason

I have had a cast iron cabinet shop grade table saw for 25 years with a 5 HP single phase 220 and it has never been anything but the best. Buy as much as you can afford. The table saw is the single most versatile tool in a shop. Adam has it now and will probably give it to his son 30 years from now.

Rom 1:17 For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.

Jason, my thoughts are exactly as Mike said...  "Quality" 5 horse single phase and never worry about it again...

It's the only bird I hunt that will actually stand there and let me shoot him...
