In the woods at first light. 2 greys died before sunup. Jakes were crankin' it up off to my west . 3 more greys gave up the ghost . The jakes made their fly down announcement and went silent.
4 out of 5 headshots on the greys,,,from 15 to 50 yards . The last two were shot in the exact same spot on the tree . The first was heading down the tree and I let out a lip squeak that stopped him . Hit him right between the ears .He hung there on the side of the tree for 20 - 30 seconds before dropping . His littermate was barking up a storm . I stood my ground and waited . The mate kept moving from limb to limb and ended up in the same exact spot and position as the first one. I lip squeaked again and when I looked through the scope I could see it was sniffing where its brother had been .
