A lot of good suggestions.
Most of the Turkeys I recorded has been from Dec to the middle of Feb. If you guys will remember there just is not a LOT of hen talk in the spring hunting season. The hens are nesting and aviod gobblers...... and are not really giving out their location because they have busted up.... or not flocked up. ( jennys excluded )
I think what I do have is a variety of calls or calling that cover cadence, rhythm, slow, fast, clear to raspy.
All I can tell you is every recording I did in the woods was ALL WILD with NO bait sites! or ANY calling by me. I always figured it best to NOT introduce a "human" factor. The only exception was when I busted a group of turkeys and tried to call to get them close to record. I did not do a good job....LOL! I do have a passage where the was a Natural Flush ( have no idea what spooked them because I did not see it ) where they flew right to me and landed close. What ever sounds you hear ( which is mostly clucking ) is just what happened while I had the recorder going.
