I have one big correction.  It is a Turpin style  ---  Not a L.F. Cox style.   If the bag goes with it, it may be worth $5.00

I agree with David and Bob, cavity size is approximate, the sound of the call comes in the tuning stage.  All the secrets of tuning are after this stage.  I could list 20 factors after the routing stage.  Old man Stribling used to let students from the High School in Rosedale turn out boxes and paddles ---- Then he would match them up and start tuning them.  This must be a tool for low tech students that do not know how to drill a hole or where to put the hole!  *aah*

It is a Turpin Style --- not the other fellow's style, He just copied Turpin.
John , I heard he was coming out with a mould for the outside of the Turpin next . Then it is simply removing the extra wood til everything fits...right ? And of course all you have to do is put a lid and a screw in it !
 *lol* *lol*

Ryan,

You hit the nail on the head. According to him, everyone that makes a call is copying him. But if you look, just about every call of his looks just like someone's before him.....even that pot with the funny shaped cutout on the back was made before he did it. Oh well, whatever he wants to think......

Oh my...  That is hilarious... ole Honest Frank must of told some more tall tales and someone is getting even at him...

I cannot stop laughing.

I should bid on it as it might be my only chance at owning a Cox caller since, from what I am hearing, I own 3 of the 3 call makers calls that will get you on his black list...
