Why do you want playoffs and do you feel that actually crowns a true champion?
Do you feel the BCS actually crowns a "TRUE" champion? I know the BCS doesn't crown a true champion. If that were the case Florida and LSU both would have one less title. A playoff might not be the answer, but it is better than the BCS. At least in a playoff the teams take it into their own hands, not waiting on a bunch of guys and a computer none the less to decide the fate of the teams. JMHO

Didn't say the computer or the BCS was the answer. But a play off does not "decide" anything on the field. If team A plays LSU, Auburn, MS State, and Florida as their final games of the season. Then team B plays Nevada, San Jose State, Utah State, and San Diego State as their final games. Two weeks later there is a playoff and team A and B meet how is that crowning a true champion? How is that considered a level playing field? Look, I'm an ultra competitive guy but a playoff is not the answer to the problem. People say that it's not fair, tough crap, life ain't fair. If Boise St. TCU and the like wanna be taken seriously then do it old school style like FSU and Miami and play anybody, anywhere. Simple as that. A playoff does not crown the best team, it crowns the hottest team of the moment. Look at The NCAA basketball tournament, UCONN was not the best team last year. Go back over the last 10 years and the best team has not won the title but once or twice. Until the little fellas decide to go on the road and consistently play the big boys then they should be happy that their football game is on TV on Wed., Thurs, and Friday nights.
