You May have to walk 10 miles to find a huntable group, and I am too old for that. In my younger days, I think I tried every way to bust up a flock imaginable. I even tried the WHACK and BARK method! I tried it one Fall morning on a roosted group of about a dozen birds on Pecan Island at Tunica, Ms. I took a 4 ft. Stout stick, ran up under the roosted birds, about fly down time, and went to whacking the trees and barking like a dog. - They all flew the same direction! Later that Am I met my hunting partner for lunch, he started describing the craziest sound he heard about fly down time - across old river! Ha.! Mr. E
