Hey Bob we should all sit around and hold our breath together and see who comes by first to say Thanks.... *up*...Be a bunch of dead callmakers.... *lol* ROTFLMBO

I think everyone here knows my feelings towards the NWTF, if not you don't have to look very far back in post most likely.  The sad part is the convention is still the biggest gathering opportunity we all have to see one another and share turkey hunting stories.

I also agree the call makers do not get enough exposure for what they bring to the table at the convention or throughout the year to the many banquets.  I have asked for 3 years now to have a social hour planned sometime before or after the live call auction to have call makers and collectors able to meet and greet for book signing and or calls.
I know I bring all three of Earls books and others so I can have call makers sign their page.
As for call maker recognition to the raffle held at the auction, this is the reason I listed each person individually in my above post as I am thankful to each and every one of you for your kind donation.  It's just a shame you can not tell the NWTF where that money raised from your calls must be used.
They are not good at telling you exactly where the $ goes anyway though, just look at what is happening in Canada.  The NWTF is pulling out of Canada because the Canadian government holds 501-C3 Non profit organizations liable and accountable for where their dollars are spent.  Apparently they wasn't keeping enough of that money in Canada where it should have been spent and was instead sending it back to headquarters.  In short it was easier to just pull out of Canada instead of spending it where it was raised. *wha*
Apologizing:  does not always mean you are wrong and the other person is right.  It just means that you value your relationship more than your ego.

Bill, you alone do more to help some callmakers at the convention than tge nwtf ever will. As long as i have known you, each year you spend a pile of money for a double booth and allow a few callmakers to peddle their wares. I was even fortunate enough to sit there once and that was a huge help to me that year and i am still thankful for that opportunity. My hats off to ya for your help towards callmakers.
I must add that Mike Lapp organized the raffle calls and he did thank each of us for donating calls , but I took that as a personal thanks from Mike, not the nwtf.
John, you struck turkey call gold last year, I bet you buy a stack of tickets again this year. Thanks for listing the callmakers , we do appreciate it. Look forward to seeing you in Nashville again.
NWTF, remember us little guys when you are thanking all those corporate sponsors. The federation is built on and  built by turkey hunters .
