Brian,  Should a mud cured trumpet end up in Mississippi.  A like Turpin Myrtle/Butt Cutt Walnut one sider could end up in Georgia my friend.

That knife is an old school callmakers dream.  Holds an edge well, is rounded so you can make the bottom corner clean up easy, feather the side with the keen edge, reverse it and use the back of the blade to burnish with.
