Guys and gals sorry I haven't been around much. I've been hunting my rear off!!! I've had a very good season so far and that abruptly came to a halt on Friday... We all know how careful we need to be in the woods and all, but you ever thought about how careful to be while walking in the woods?
Well Friday I was sneaking around a bird and walking along a creeks edge... all of a sudden the ground let go on my left foot... needless to say, I would have won any America's funniest home video awards

I went straight down and hit every rock imaginable with my right leg!!!! It is black and blue at the moment and I took a swim in 40 degree weather... I was cold and didn't realize how banged up I was until I tried to walk out... it hurt... I seriously thought I'd broken my leg!!!
Went to the dr.. had it checked out and luckily just bruised. Dr said stay off of it and I said.. it's MO turkey season... he shook his head and said be stupid then...
Saturday I shot a bird, but it wasn't the hunts I'm used too. Drove up threw my stuff out parked 50 + yards away and limped back. They came to my calling, but I was setup at one spot only...
So be careful out there and sure the heck don't pull any Porter's in the field!!!! To top it off... I hurt my good leg... there was nothing wrong with it up until now
