Always love October 1st

Especially when ....  you fill a tag!



Had a blast out in the woods this morning.  Wasn't going to go after turkeys with the shotgun, but a bull insisted I not invade his territory trying to deer hunt... so I decided to chase some birds!

Got to try out Ed's turpin and she did mighty fine as did ole Richard's trumpet!  I'm building more and more confidence with my trumpet use and the soft cluck and yelps really convinced these birds to come in.

Funniest thing was after I shot her, a jake jumped on her and started gobbling.  I was laughing hard.

Out after them again tomorrow!

Like Ferguson, one down one to go!

Hey ---I was thinking about that Jake jumping up on that hen ya hammered........ya reccon.... maybe---just maybe......
that he was having the SAME PROBLEMS with her---that you are having with that little volleyball player  ??? ;D ;)

Alright knee pads... that was a shot way below the belt  *lol*  You are in deep  *poo* now.  I just read this and woke the wife up.  She wants to know what is so funny... not like i can tell her the TRUTH now!!!!   *peep*

That jake needs to learn that you sometimes have to move on to greener pastures... like a 5'2" redhead  *peep*  I changed the ole saying, when life gives you lemons... hire a 6'1" and 5'2" young ladies... oh my I think that was Knee Pads that told me that  ROTFLMBO ROTFLMBO ROTFLMBO

Getting ready to head out the door again.  We will see if I have any lick today!
