Only thing that might concern me Steve, is the thin-ness of the wood at the Transition area'
That get's thin there, prone to crack, when ya file or sand it to match the outer bone diam it get's thin-thin.
I have had no problem with Hard wood such as the ash, but the softer woods would worry me of cracking over time, because some have, before I ever sent them out.
I know they get fragile there, exspecially when you come in the back side with the other bone.
Your transition looks alot thinner, than AJ's or KP's, or mine either, because you have gone to the bones diameter, I just worried of the thiness of the wood transition's strength when I build em like that.
They look like your painted joints almost, cept ya changed the paint for wood, do you make them all the same length, and just glue em up, or do you tune them ?
