From the window, I saw the mail man placing a priority shipping box in the mail box, and wondered what it could be. I soon had the box in hand and saw it was from Jim McNeil, cool! I tore it open and dicovered a beauty inside. I have been friends with Jim for some time now, and have another of his calls, the scout, so I am familiar with his work. On my birthday recently Jim had shown me a preview of the call in progress. Jim had made a nice bamboo case for the call, and I opened it up and discovered a jewel inside.
I had asked for black wrappings, and am pleased with my choice. Jim's craftsmanship is impeccable, fit and finish outstanding, remniscent of a fine bamboo flyrod (if you ever make any, put me down for one Jim!) Of course, I wondered how it would play.
Those that know me well, know I am not one to blow smoke, all I can say is Jim, I am very pleased with this call, it plays effortlessly with great tone, I love it! If you are a connoisseur of fine things and turkey calls in particular, you won't be dissappointed with one of Jim's Jordan calls. (You know where to send the check for the review Jim!) J/K
