I think there was quite a controversy in the Jordan yelper (hunting div) competitions. According to the guy doing the argueing, the calls were supposed to have a wingbone mouthpiece. The first place call, along with three other calls that received ribbons, did not have a wingbone mouthpiece. I don't know if they ever settled it to his satisfaction.

I caught that right when I saw the pictures. It's a pretty poorly written in the rules, and I suppose it could be argued either way. The "consistant with Charles Jordan style Yelpers" was the part that swayed my thoughts. I will say that it kept me from entering one of mine into that catagory because the mouth piece wasn't bone..
