I think Tim had started growing some more hair and was very concerned. I started out picking the woods and needless to say... it wasn't going to good. I think Tim now knows exactly what will not work as a caller... I thought he might need some education
I think most of his learning curve has come at my expense
On one of the combos, Tim knew he had some wood that wasn't making great tonal qualities, but tried anyway. He let me know that this combo wasn't working out either. He then mentioned he had some Magnolia wood. I thought oh yeah!!! He surprised me big time with the Osage paddle on it. I'd inquired about a different wood for the paddle (thinking I'd give him a break) and when it got to the house, there was the lovely yellow paddle
So all in all, I now have a combo that I'm pretty sure no one else has. Magnolia/Osage...
Tim thanks for building this caller for me. I know you had to work hard for it
The funny part was, I called Tim yesterday and placed another order. He answered and I said hey man... I thought I heard a pin drop... I'm pretty sure this order was more "normal" for him
This caller came in about a week ago and the weather has kept me from putting up pics. Tim did tell me to tell Tim B he got done first (ok I might have made that part up
)
