New Zealand call
« on: May 18, 2010, 06:39:28 AM »
I turned over a hundred of these Deer/Grunt calls recently, they have an adjustable toneboard to make a range of sounds from fawn bleat to mature buck. Some were turned and finshed like this one from some tiger maple, some from Cherry and some unfinished for camo dipping.
This particular call headed out yesterday to New Zealand, and was tuned a little different than the others.

I listened to some sound clips of the deer they have, and hope it works on their deer,(Red Stag) they get pretty big.
Can you imagine calling in one of these big boys??

They are beautiful animals Mike, personally I would rather photograph them at this stage in my life, guess I'm getting soft. There is a farm here close by that raises some of these, I have been watching one of the bucks as his rack is developing, beautiful and amazing animals!

No respect should be given to a man who does not honor his word. He is just an adolescent who's acorns haven't dropped yet.

Those who stir the S**T pot should have to lick the spoon.
