Some of you have heard about my attempted TRICK SHOT last week. I kinda said something here about Porter and Daryl missing out west and took a shot at them----my how carma bites !!!!!
I worked a bird in sight of me almost 45 minutes to get him up close enough in the hardwoods to hammer him. Heck---ya know its so easy to shoot these things I figured I would make it interesting and a little more challenging.
I decided I would bounch my shot off a tree and kill the bird the same. ONE...TWO...THREE....BANG----somehow I must have figured the angle wrong. The bird wasn't even touched and ran off like he had seen a devil or something.
  If ya'll believe this story---I have a bridge over a desert for sale.
A true trophy tree----haven't cooked it yet to find out if its as good as fried turkey :'(

I missed an opening morning GA gobbler at 8 steps a couple of seasons ago.  I didnt hit squat... At least you made contact with something!

Ive Hit Trees and shot over em cuz there on my Lap...It makes ya come back for more...lol

Jeff your tree was much larger than mine.  Not much was left of mine :(  

I know one thing, I'll never pick on Daryl for missing again...  Karma does suck!

Jeff, I just cant get enough of that pic...and I saw it right after it happened...all I can say is thats one dead tree!!!!!! ROTFLMBO...With all the birds you have seen fall this season I have the right to say that....lol...
