Prototype Striker
« on: February 06, 2010, 05:10:23 PM »
I've been kicking an idea around for a while now, and today it was too cold to do much in my shop. I braved it long enough to turn this striker, and wanted to get some opinions on practicality and design. I haven't seen one like it, maybe someone else has. I thought this lanyard design might be nice for those days when you want to travel light, tuck a pot or two in a pocket and go. I have a few more ideas in the works, but thought I'd see what you all thought about this one first. Thanks! Dave

Dave,

I like your striker design but not real crazy about the lanyard for a striker. I carry my pots and strikers in zippered pouches in my vest and if I have something around my neck it will be a suction call.

I actually have one that has the notch for a lanyard but I haven't put one on.  I got it about 3-4 years ago from a callmaker.
