I am preparing for a calling contest this weekend, and wanted to put some scouting time in the woods. With twin 16 month old girls, and a 4 year old boy, you have to take what you can get. LOL
SO I hit the woods last Saturday for some turkey time. It was much needed after the crazy week I had. I didn't hear any birds but got some good call time in, and lets face it, any time spent in the woods is good!
So I walked down the trail and noticed a turkey feather sitting on a mossy rock, with a few acorns on it. Looked like the perfect photo backdrop to show off some of my favorite hunting calls.
Here are the pics.

Pot call is by Mark Cornelius, Short box is by Austin Hornberger, long box is by Mike Lapp, Jordan and Wingbones are by Tony Ezolt. These calls are my go to for hunting. All of these guys are from my home state of PA and all are great friends. Last season the Austin Hornberger box, has one kill associated with it, and the MAC pot has 2. The others have not got the chance that much to hunt, but will see a lot of time this fall.
Thanks for the look and hope you liked the pics as much as I did.
