2016 NWTF Convention haul

Well--ya always go with a few on your mind, but this year I kinda loaded up it seems. Got to buy a few, trade for a few and even a gift or two thrown in there. This year as all others was a blast and here a some of the calls that came home to Ooltewah with me...

I have asickness for James Harrisons hooters..here are a few I couldn't walk away from ...and one very special one to me as it is the first of only 5 he has ever made. James kept one until Herrman 'conned" him out of it, and the other three went to some close friends that wanted in when we talked about him doing one.



Here is a great glass call from Jimmy Schaffer made of Blue Mahoe. It was actually one he entered that Jimmy got back...and I traded him out of it in typical car salesman way ----


Here is a Shadetree Callers Stepside longbox from ole Bob Fulcher--shes a great player in one of my favorite woods--Mineral poplar


Here is a great looking box from John Eddleman --John is a dear friend and a great ambassador to the turkey hunting world--thanks so much John for the great surprise with this great looking box ...


a gift from a great friend...a Bill Lyman  striker made of Snakewood ...

some eye candy from ole Neal Herrman ...one is a snakewood glass and the other in a snakewood slate...from his first batch of some real lookers and killers also---along with a few extra strikers





here is a neat item made by Gary Bunofski in Ohio--he actually took a bird I took at Marling and did this for me...

Here are a few treasured items from Del Crow and Billy McCallister, a coco trumpet with ivory mouth piece and a great little slate from them




Here are two pots I got from Paul Plattz--have heard a lot about these little jewels --a glass and slate--thanks Paul




a new designed set from my great buddy and booth partner Ed Jenkins of Ghostmaker calls. Eds new graphics and sound are really great --these are killers

Clint Corder pots are next ---I bought a few , and got the chance to trade himout of one he had entered and bought back for a box of mine--you bet I jumped on that deal ...thanks Clint for the fine pots

Bill.... I was in the "Nasville Fog" mindset when I posted this - it's all my fault and an truely sorry for the wrong info- the last thing I would want to do is cause a problem bewteen two makers over wrong imfo I posted. On a positive note - the striker is killer and drop dead georgious

That was a terrific haul you came home with, Jeff! I picked up two of Clint's glass over slate calls. Wish mine sounded that good!!  Trial and error......one of these days!

Nice haul there Jeff. Got some real killers!! What a great time and great group of guys. Fun to see everyone again, meet some new friends, and swap stories. Looking forward to next year already.
