I learned to call crows over 50 years ago from the legendary Francis W. Davis. In the years since, I have taught several others to do so, as well. Having not bought a crow call for serveral years (My personal favorites are the old black plastic Olt and a really great wood call offered by the White Owl Cirgar Co. offered many years ago.), I wanted to see what the current favorites are to help with buying calls for my grandsons. Obviously, I have received little help here. The snide remarks re: "You just don't blow......" are not appreciated at all.
If anyone has a genuine, well-meaning suggestion...I'd love to hear it.

I don't understand some of this . Your first post asked for our FAVORITES . Most if not all have told you . So WTH added a very important tip to running the call and I agreed with him . IT WAS NOT INTENDED TO BE TAKEN AS A SNIDE REMARK . It is a genuine , well meaning suggestion . If you have a crow call that sounds REAL by just blowing it ,,,,,forget all the rest and get your kids the same calls . I haven't heard every crow call ,,,,,but the ones I have heard ,,,,when just BLOWN sound pathetic . But even a turkey will shock to a pathetic call , brayin' jack butt or a gun shot won't they?
