Mikey that looks like a nice gun no excuses for missed birds now. Take it out and shoot some good pattern targets with those new winchesters now. Congrats!

Turkeys beware. Curious as to how that dampening system works out?

Never updated, got 3 turkey with it......I thought I better buy 3" instead of 3 1/2 but they were no problem with this gun, really didnt notice the kick...I think people try to choke these down to much.?   I shot a patternmaster code black .715

It's good to hear another very positive report on that gun and I'm glad you had such excellent results.
I actually enjoyed shooting my new 835 with the Matthews system as well. Mine has the 28" barrel, LPA trigger and is matte with black, the waterfowl model. I tried a real variety of chokes and shotshells and need to publish the results of all of that but it sure is not like my older 835. The system really does work.

Thanks,
Clark

It is good to hear that the system helps. I would also like to chime in that I am even more impressed by the LPA trigger. It flat out is the best shotgun trigger I have ever pulled. I like it so much that I will also trade my backup gun, and upgrade.
