Kentucky Rabbit Hunt

Well it's been awhile since I had a chance to get after some bunnies. I Grabbed the rusty hounds and out we went. Weather here today wasn't the best. Bitter cold with the wind blowing 30-40 mph with snow showers. Not the best day for rabbit hunting to say the least. Still we Jumped 5, 3 holed up, shot 2. Not to bad for a half a day hunt considering the weather. I really enjoyed hearing the hounds work. My girls.... Alley, Lacey, and Sugar had a blast. Thanks for looking!!

No doubt- had to be a blast watching and hearing the beagles run-
Bet if ya had those glasses on during the hunt- those other 3 bunnies wouldn't have made it to a hole  *peep*

Years ago I used to hunt snowshoe rabbits in the Adirondack Mtns with several friends and their Beagles, man was that fun...the show averaged, and I am not lying 4-5 feet, we all wore snowshoes and ya had to be careful not to fall over cause it was a real chore to regain standing.  Surely a fun hunt Brent

nice hunt its always nice to get the beagles out Scott your right ive been there many times snow up to my belt using saplings to pull myself up
