Been using my Ashby calls
« on: July 03, 2013, 07:37:13 AM »
I have been using my Ashby calls for years. I have a Ashby gobble box and a slate call made when he was in Houston, Mo. Both in good shape still and well seasoned by now. I've had them since they were new about 30 years ago. Had to change the rubber bands a few times but still sounds good. Also carry a Primos Power Crystal pot call and an HS Strut owl hooter and a Quaker Boy Easy Yealper. After seeing some of your pot calls you guys have made I will be making myself a few to add to my vest for sure. May have to retire my Ashby stuff before they get broke.
