Guys, I wanted to post this on here in case anyone is interested. Last fall, my Dad and I booked a 3 day hunt to DA Outfitters in NE Kentucky. We booked the hunt while my Dad was going through his surgeries and we hoped that it would be motivation for him to get better and give him something to look forward to. Well unfortunately, he was too weak to be able to make the trip and John (the owner of DA Outfitters) gave us the option to move it to a different weekend or even roll it over to this coming season. Unfortunately, as many of you know, my Father passed away in January and I just don't want to go on the hunt without him. After talking with the outfitter, he told me that if I could find someone, I could sell my hunt to them. We paid $800 per person for this hunt. The hunt as described on DA OUtfitters webpage is as follows:
From Labor Day on we will be booking 3 day weekend archery
excursion hunts. You canl hunt Fri-Sat-Sun-Mon. You may pick
3 days from Labor Day Weekend until the weekend of
October 5 & 6.
3 day hunt includes food & lodging and is ($800).
DA Outfitters will only take groups of 2-4 hunters for these
hunts!!
Dates are first come first serve held by $200 deposit.The offer is for 2 hunters. Given the circumstances, I would be willing to sell this hunt for $600 per person rather than $800. That is $200 off the original price that we paid for it. I would rather get something back for it than to have to lose everything. If anyone is interested in this deal, please contact me.
