a little 1/4 Moon Scratcher
« on: January 04, 2013, 08:54:00 PM »
Ratting thru my stuff and thought you folks mite like this one.  This little scratch box was made by my good hunting buddy and fellow WV'ian Joe Ross. Joe is primarily a flintlock gun builder but I got him into some call making a while back. You can see the gun influence in his design and finishes. Walnut face from my stash and an American Chestnut soundboard from his property. Striker is set off with a touch of brass. This little call has had a play in several gobblers nappin' in the dirt.  ;)

No doubt a lot of craftmanship in that
Like the added touch on the striker
