NY Fall Bird
« on: October 12, 2009, 06:31:27 PM »
On Thursday Ron Magnona dog Junior broke a nice flock of birds and they would not work into gun range for Pat.We decided to all go and sit up there the next morning and see what we could do.A little after day light the birds were really talking and I had a bird Gobblin and yelping about 100 yards away.Pat was going to try and harvest his first fall bird. All a sudden a gun shot sounded off a few seconds later another. The bird was still gobblin and yelping coming in but he circled around us.Pat could not get turned and told me to take the bird.I was soft calling he came out gobblin and I took him. After my bird was down we all got together and found out Zack and his dad Gary got a bird

Sorry for the first picture it was raining. Here we all are with Junior and Gretchen

Here we are back at the Roost wth the birds

I thought you would be bigger
