Two from Mr. Buice
« on: June 23, 2012, 03:52:27 PM »
Got a special box in the mail from Mr. Billy Buice, been checking the mail 3 times a day waithing on these 2 killers. One is a Osage trumpet with a #4 mouthpiece, the other is African Olivewood with a #3 mouthpiece. Both calls are clear, crisp, easy running and jamed packed full of turkey. With out a doubt Mr. Billy's calls are all they are said to be + some!!! Thanks again Mr. Billy for these awesone calls.

I actually got my first Buice trumpet from Lewis Stowe in 1984. He had bought 12 from Billy and was just selling them for him. It cost a whopping 25 bucks ( cocobolo ). I have a set of green osage. The wood stump came out of the levy on the mississippi delta and was over 100 years old. I also had a duck call made from that block too. Osage is a GREAT wood!

$25 for a cocobolo Buice.......The 80's were a great time.......Green osage is one of my favorites..... *cheers* *bowing*
