Terefencko Long Box

A while back I sent Ed some curley koa and figured asian ironwood not knowing if it would make a nice long box or not but I asked him to try it. I never gave it much thought as we planed for my return trip to PA for some turkey hunting this past weekend. Ed and I were out in his shop after an unproductive morning of hunting messing around with some calls when he surprised me with the finished long box. To say this call looks awesome is an understatement. The koa almost glows in the light and the figure in the asian ironwood compliments the koa to a T and the sound is perfect starting with a nice high front end dropping down to some nasty rasp on the back end. I would like to say that I killed a bird with this call as I did hunt with it in PA and today being my last day to hunt back here in NY but with the heat and humidity the birds are real quiet and not responding. I gave it my best and look forward to hunting this call again in the fall. Ed thanx again for building this one for me I owe you big time. Awesome call from an Awesome call maker and friend. Ed thanx again for another great hunting trip. We didn't get any birds but it's always a great time hunting with you and your dad.
