Awesome wing bones
« on: April 09, 2012, 03:26:31 PM »
Opened the magic mailbox today to find a box from my friend Gary Bunofsky he goes by nebo on this site. I had sent Gary some wing bones from a bird that I shot last spring so he could make up some of his wing bone callers. First off is the sound and playability. Both are spot on perfect with yelps, clucks and kee kee's flowing out of both calls with ease. Gary's finish work is fantastic with the finish and wrapping. He used a dye on the bones that gives them a look of golden oak or chestnut with a look of wood graining in some of them. Gary I can't thank you enough for making these for me and yes they will see time in the woods this spring. If anybody has some bones that they would like to have made into a caller please contact Gary you'll be glad you did.  Bill

Bill
Gary brought a couple of wingbone callers to the shop last fall and I thought they were great. I loved the antique look he gets by the dye and the sound was very good. Nice catch
