I got this guy this morning, at about 9:30.  He gobbled all morning through the fog, and I was afraid that he was going to fly down on the other side of the back-water.  Patience paid-off today.
This was my first time firing at a bird with the new gun, and I was more than pleased with the results.  I blasted him in full-strut at about 45 yards, or so.  He fell straight backwards with his feet up in the air; never seen that one before.  However, he did come back to life and scare the you know what out of me when I was on the phone with my mom.  This is the first bird that we've taken from this particular property in quite a few years (a crafty bunch).  He looks like another two-year-old, but it was fun, and I'm sure I'll run into a limbhanger this season ;D.

Yep, I love that thing.  It has quite a POP to it!  That's his striker around my neck too.
