I bet it sounds great! Is that a kill mark on the base?

Each year I build a call to hunt with that is the only way I get to keep one for myself ;D Yes the call has one notch I killed a bird in New York using the call and no zumer that is not the cat pizz poplar  *lol* that poplar is from a rafter I saved from a house built in 1862 in Lancaster county Pa. The wood was awesome I wish I would have kept more when I returned the next day to grab some more all that was there was a pile of ashes  :( :( :(  The rafter was full of bug holes so I only took one when I cut into that night the bug holes were only in the sap wood the heart was deep dark green and not a hole in it !!!!!!!! Yep ashes the home owner burned the pile   :( :( :( :(

Jeff, LOL No I never sold a pissed on call  ;D ;D What happened was I did a wood trade with a good friend Chad Griep many of you know him he called me up and said where did you get this poplar I was cutting out some call blanks and it smells like cat piss  *lol* I went to my wood pile and sure enough a cat decided to use my poplar pile as a liter box and it gets worse later that year I had my calls made for Grand Nationals all I had to do was spray finish on them I set my calls on a piece of cardboard that has a thousand coats of finish on and cleaned the shop I came out the next day and my calls were setting in yep you guessed it cat piss  *lol* it would not soak into the cardboard there were in a puddle, needless to say I had to build 3 of my calls again and only had a week to do so. That poplar was cursed !!!!!! Dang Zumer I wish you would let me forget about that poplar  *lol*
