I would like to encourage all to study up on predator hunting tactics . If you are already there , well , more power to ya.
I dare say that just about any time you or I go to the field or woods we have an opportunity to eliminate one haired over varmint. It'll just add some more excitement to your regular outings , whether it be deer or turkey hunting .
It seems that the majority of hunting is in the deer hunting realm , though there is a rapid rise in predator hunting .
Those days , and we all experience them now and again , when something goes wrong to mess up our hunt and we just call it quits and head for home , we could just as easy switch from deer or turkey to coyote ,bobcat or 'coon calling.
There is a lot of good books , mags and videos for learning . I highly recommend ''Primos',Mastering the Art of Coyote Calling''. As well as the Randy Anderson hunting videos . If it works for me ,,,and it does ,,,it'll work for you .
My desire is to hunt turkeys , but we can't do it all year long . The closest thing to turkey hunting is Howlin' up a song dog and have it just poke along slowly right up to spittin' distance .Just like successful turkey hunting ,,,having the right set up is crucial.
Good hunting.
