It's a sad time, but FYI OSAGE ROOST will be pulling the plug at the end of the month. It's been a great 15 years since the start, but it's hardly ever used now and time to move on!

They unleash a ferocious strike but really dont fight much outside of some alligator rolling once they are at boat-side. The big ones inhabit pretty cold water so I expect their metabolism isnt very high.
Just curious how warm a water you caught that pike out of? I've caught pike in water less than 40 and they fight alot different than warm water fish. Go after river pike near the spawn and you'll change your mind.
