Lignum Vitae anyone ?

 Here is a scratchbox I made for my Wife . Her favorite color is green . This one is made from lignum vitae which is a beautiful wood and it smells good too . But this stuff is the waxiest wood I have worked with before and is the densest wood there is . Lignum vitae comes from St. John's island in the Virgin Islands . It is known as "The tree of life" . Thanks for looking !

Beautiful caller!  I have used Lignum Vitae to make wine stoppers but not any calls.  Great idea.
