Title: 2 friction calls
Post by: misfire on September 11, 2010, 10:20:49 AM: Both of these are made of lyptus. One is a 3" slate over glass, the next is a 3.5" ceramic over glass.

I'm kind of wood dumb, but what is lyptus comparable too? Sure haven't seen much being used. I really like the looks of it.

Ceramic is a very good surface IMO..

Its a very easy surface to play and provides some really good yelps and cutts. Can get loud or really mellow easily
