I won't buy one but I think it's a pretty novel idea and see nothing wrong with it other than it might restrick your movement when trying to run a call.

Just a copy of the "Bush in a Bag", camo concept that came out several years ago. Some people don't care where they get the idea, as long as they benefit from it!

Then there are those like myself who have a bad back and have a hard time sitting still for long periods of time. So some people will benefit from it. I personally use one of those little roll out blinds with the stakes.

Years of physcial therapy a couple of back surgeries tons of pain meds leaves me with no choice but to use whatever it takes to keep me in the woods longer. I use one of those stools because I'm unable to get all the way down on the ground.

I hear that... I know how uncomfortable hunting with back issues is. My back is pretty bad.
I'm not sure I'd tote that vest around, but until I found a good seat to set on... I used to put limbs in front of my feet. My feet would go to sleep and it would kill me...

K I've been hunting turkey for 40+ years and have killed my fair share in jeans and flannel shirts. I perfer to find natural ground cover ie: a blow down, stone wall or clump of trees but if I need to use my "sheet of camo" I have no problem doing so. What I do have a problem with is people who are so opinionated about the way other people hunt. To each his own.

There's alot of new fangled gadgets out there that people use that I don't agree with, but if people want to spend the money on them then let them. To me they take away from the hunt, but people just don't know any better. It's kind of like I listen to country and you won't find me within ear shot of rap music!! To each there own!!

Wait till you get older k... I've been there and hurt my back. It's not fun and I'm not about to give up enjoying the outdoors. If that means using camo to help conceal me, I'll do it. It's all about enjoying the outdoors for me. It's 10x better than sitting at home and watching TV or playing games. Fresh air has helped me more than it's hurt me.
Carried a bird out one fall after shooting it with my bow. I could barely walk and I really wondered how I was going to get out of there. I was sitting down and couldn't pull my bow back. Had to stand up to shoot the bird...
I literally have to watch what I pick up. Thanks to a very stupid moment when I was younger (@21) and thought I was bullet proof. I've paid for that mistake ever since!

fellerz..i have 2 slipped diskz...& have to go do physikal therapy myself even get steroid shotz from time to time......but i dont & wont use no stinkin blind... 8)

I hunted a spot that had a 6' slave built stone wall in the middle of the woods. One day I called in a bird and shot him through a hole in it. One of the best blinds I ever had! *peep*

bad backs are no fun. i had a herniated disc about 18 years ago and i too had to go through about 6 months of physical therapy. i need to do some stretching to help it out (but don't), particulary the hamstrings. my flexibility is bad, real bad.

That gives me an idea!!! I'll design a camo pattern that looks like a pile of rocks! Have some pop up blinds made from it I'll bet I can sell a ton of them up here to the suckers in the North East!! Well stated. We are all a little opinionated ,but I agree with this person. Some of the opinions given here about turkey hunting are posted in a manner that says to others; " you are not a real hunter if you don't agree with my opinion". There are as many different styles of hunting as there are different types of hunters. Try not to look down on someone else's style of hunting as long as it is legal where they hunt. If we don't all stand united ,together then we will not win the fight against the Anti's. Hunting is hunting ! I do it my way and you probably do it your way, that doesn't mean we aren't both good hunters. How many of you have read Turpin's book when he descibes wiggling a can on the end of a stick to lure in a tom Where would this fit in with your hunting style? Point is , We must all get along in our pursuit of the wild turkey. Don't let your opinions shadow any one else's style of hunting, please. With that said, Bring on the gobbles !!

Am I missing a joke here? What's up with the spelling? I'm not an old guy by any means, but just by reading your post you're not a teenager. Is this "text" typing or what is it? It hurts my eyes, but it's like where's waldo, I just keep looking for more of it.

i agree k, but i wouldn't put roost shooting, or taking one with a rifle, in the same category as hunting using some form of mesh material.

The more you water hunting down and the easier you make it the more ammo you are giving to the Anti's. How do you think we are portrayed when the general public flips on the tv and sees a guy hidden in his blind, gobbler marching in oblivious to his surroundings, locked on a strutting decoy and then getting blasted after giving the decoy a good stomping for 5 minutes? I don't see it protraying it us in any sort of a positive light and I have no problem voicing that.

My point is that we shouldn't argue amongst ourselves ! Hunting from a blind is no different than shooting a bear over a pile of bait or using that spaniel to flush a rooster twenty feet away from you or using a plane to fly in to hunt animals that have never seen humans....point is we must all stand together. It's all hunting fellas! If you don't agree with someone else's style, don't put them down for it. Don't infer that they are not a good hunter or not man enough to do it your way. Personally, I will be sitting at the base of a big old tree with my Grandpa's model 37 ,loaded with #6 lead game loads. I will draw a tom in with a caller that I made with my own hands. And I will take home my limit of birds , as I have since I was a younger man. But I will not be looking down my nose at the turkey hunter on the next property who is doing it HIS way. I will pat him on the back and say " "atta boy " ! This is in no way meant as an attack against anyone, just a request for everyone to accept their fellow hunters!

Sorry but I don't think I should have to agree with certain tactics just because I am a hunter and another hunter is using them. I voice my opinion to the people you stated by not buying their videos and products and in no way supporting them. My state Reps and members of our game commisions board have heard plenty from me.
Unlike others I don't get bent out of shape by discussing topics like this. I think we could all learn something by debating things and voicing our opinons. Not stating something or just conforming to the general consenus is a shame.
