To a Fine A Southern Gentleman

Well, I have to admit I am tired just like Forest, Forest Gump said when he stopped Running!  I dun sanded off my thumb nails and burnt the tips of 3 fingers and this is it until after Nashville!  Figured Walnut with double sapwood and heartwood poplar inlays over heartwood Poplar with Purpleheart spacers and Walnut and blocks.  I just LOVE this green heartwood and matched with hard Walnut like this is flat-out THE most deadly sounding combo.  Both rails start quite high with great kee-kees and move smoothly into long & full 3 tone yelps with hard roll-overs and close with some of the nastiest crunchy raspy yawks.  I'm really not certain the southern fellow who this was built for can really handle her, but I'll know this spring as them mountain gobblers will never know what hit em!  From what I know, the hunter is partial to both turkey and duck hunting so I fashioned something I think he like for years to come--enjoy sir!

Its getting fun to log on each day and see just what new call you have created. Man have you been gettin-r-done!!!!!
Scott---who ever is the lucky guy that ordered this call is getting another FINE one as I have had the pleasure of hearing the feathers that spill from it---it will be the demise of plenty of birds I bet. Just keep that call out of my neck of the mountains if this call is headed south of the mason dixon dude.
Congrats on another piece of art that will kill turkeys !!!

   I have called in many of birds using a Popular box with a Walnut lid. Super combo and beautiful burning! Sure to be a killer call..   *up*  *up* *up*
