Beat Down in New Orleans

I was there for all of it. What a couple of days it was. It was great to be a part of it and like I said in a previous post this one was special because of all the previous history.

Order has been restored. LSU has assumed its rightful place as being second fiddle to the Crimson Tide.

LSUfreek does some funny images, he's a celebrity on a number of websites.  That one has been around since Tuesday.

Congrats on the win.  You beat a quality opponent.  But I'm not hanging my head about the season.  Sure, i would have liked a better ending but it was a historic season for LSU.  The winningest record in college football and did it against the hardest schedule in college football.  Given the adversity the team faced I'm pretty pleased with how things went.  

As for order restored, my count says LSU is 9-4 against Bama since the turn of the century and .500 against Saban at Bama.  It may be a bit premature to make that claim.

Enjoy the win, looking forward to beating Bama in BR next year...

I love random stats and the selective dates at which they are pulled. Ironic you cite the record since 2000 and then turn around and try to take a shot at Saban. You would think coonasses would be more grateful to a man that made their program relevant.

Nice moral victory your claiming though. Nobody cares about best records and historic seasons. It's all about the crystal. I remember you saying that LSU would still be national champs even if they lost. After that beating do you feel the same? BTW, I really hope LSU fans realize how vastly over rated the honey roasted is now. Like I said, he didn't show up for this game either.

Cry your self to sleep with those selective stats and moral victories. There is a reason you'll always be LSU, you're ok with a "great season" that ends in embarrassment for the "best" LSU team ever.
