I'm in Georgia too and we've got them every where here. South Georgia is alot worse with the rattlesnakes. I used to coon hunt 6 nights a week and the moon did'nt go down unless we saw some sort of snake. Around my house we have a good many rattlers. I have seen two in the past 3 months, killed a copperhead been bit by a rat snake and seen countless king snakes. My new motto is that every snake is either a chicken snake or a cobra......If it ain't got a chicken in it's mouth it's a cobra.
