Here is a ShadeTree Caller I just finished . This one was made in that classic Walter Winterbottom combo , butternut and cedar . This cedar lid was made from a fencepost slavaged on the Joab Dyer farm near Eminence Missouri, by the late Swiney Rayfield . The grain lines are so tight that you can't count them all . The wormy butternut was salvaged from wood stock that was left in Walter Winterbottom's shop when he passed away . I have a very limited supply of the cedar and the butternut so if you would like a call made from it please contact me . The 3 feather decoration came from a wingfeather that I watched fall to the ground from a roost tree . She has all the sounds I try to achieve in my calls . Starts off with a high kee kee and rolls into raspy hen , then ends with a gobbler yelp . She has a hearty gobble in her also . Thanks for looking !
