I know I've not been on much as of late. I've been either working close to 90 hours or out in the woods. About a three weeks ago, I got a really rude awakening. A certified letter came to my house with my name and OsageRoost as the addressee. I opened the letter and there was a court signed document requesting all logs be turned over for a "certain" thread. Now I say "certain" as my attorney has advised me to not mention a word of what thread it was. Due to this advice, I will not mention what it was.
After reviewing the documents with attorneys and a judge friend of mine, I/we are almost certain a lawsuit will be filed.
Unfortunately, I wish this wasn't the case, but sometimes I see people post things and wonder.. what were you thinking? Although this is a private forum, it is on the Internet which is Public for everyone to read and see.
I HIGHLY advise that if you are going to post something in any "negative" manner, you take a minute and think how it will be perceived. I strongly believe in the 1st amendment, but even then there are right and wrong ways of posting information.
Will I ever know the outcome of this, nope. Once the data was turned over, they were done with me. I'm not even sure there will be anything filed, but I just wanted to give you a heads up.
This is the 2nd time I've had to do this.
