Opening Day Missouri Youth Season

We watched 5 gobblers off the bluff filling their craw with sand then decided to leave. We crawled back up the hill and started back to camp. I seen a flash up front and told Harley we needed to slip up the road a bit. This young buck was chasing doe and never realized we were chasing him. He passed through a clear spot in the brush about 40 yards. Harley made one shot and the buck dropped in it's tracks. He was excited to say the least. After he settled down he said "Dad, they can't fun me anymore for missing a bunch this year" Today was priceless. We had tenderloin, buttermilk biscuits and gravy for supper at camp. It was a pretty good day.

This is harley. Thanks everybody i was really nervus when i made the shot. But it payed out. I cant wait to go again next weekend. Thanks again.
