Hunted sat. in the snow and fog . We hunted some strippings west of karthus and seen lots of birds. Cutter broke up three different flocks of birds. The first flock flew accross the river, the second and third we broke it was snowing pretty good and didn't even set up to call. It was fun just watching cutter work. Today I took off work about 10:00 clock and was in the woods by 11:00. And by noon we had a flock broke up. Waited 1/2hour then called a little, Didn't get a response for about an hour, but then heard some birds pitch out of tree's. it wasn't long I had one standing right in front of me. I shot that one and it flopped down over the hill, so i turned Cutter loose on it. By the time i got down to the bird Cutter had removed about all it's tail feathers in the chase. ,When I got there Cutter had it by the neck with both paws wrapped tight. He was looking at me Like i finally caught one of these. We went back up the hill and set up and called four more birds in just for the show. We left the hill about four o clock there was birds calling everwhere. I will, try and post some pics tomorrow. I did find out I don't move as fast as i did when I was younger when my legs are asleep.
