" Killer Copper " potcall from FKIII
« on: October 09, 2011, 12:01:41 PM »
Here is a very nice sounding copper pot call from my friend Frank Kruer III. I was at Brent's house one day and got to play a copper call that he built with Frank . I knew right away that I had to get one for myself . It has a very natural and nasal tone to it and you can get alot of different sounds from it even a nice kee . It's made from padauk , yellowheart and zebrawood.  It came with two different strikers , one laminated model that matches the call and a solid zebrawood one also . They both sound equally good ! This is definately a hunting call and would be aptly named "Killer Copper " ! Thanks for the super nice caller Frank !! It will be getting a workout this fall !

Awesome looking caller. I love the ingraving of the names and stuff. The strikers are nice. I would like to get me a larger copper pot one day.

Bob I know you got a killer for sure my friend...Congrats  *up*.... Yesterday Morning did a little Bow hunting with a buddy of mine. I messed us up a for sure double with him in the spring. I bagged my bird and he didn't... *peep*... So I gave/ owed him the first shot this time.  *wha*  We had a nice hen come out, about 200 yard across a field we where hunting. I started to purr and putt with some very soft yelps at her she started coming... *ride*.. Going softer and softer as she got closer. That pot sure can talk soft and sweet. At 12 yard my buddy took a golf ball size plug out of her with his PSC and some turkey terra broadheads. Ending her Cheerleading Career right, then and there  *aah* It was a good hunt with some good calls.  RkLu Frank aka "Billy Bob" sure builds a good'un for sure! Mine now has some blood on it!  *cool*
