Ole No.1 Butternut
« on: September 19, 2011, 08:58:41 PM »
I am now the proud owner of John Eddlemans 1st butternut Gator Gobbling call.  Pretty cool call.  I provided the butternut and worked the wood down from the stump.  Cut the tree, sawed the boards, cut into blanks, etc. That is special wood to me. Topped with a walnut lid. John, the gobbler side hit almost as soon as it fell out of the box. The hen side took a little longer to find. About 2 minutes.   ;D  OR less! ;D  One thing that never ceases to make me smile.  A good call, no matter the combo or style.....sounds like a turkey.  Amazing!  This is a good call John..... nuff said. *up*

You guys have seen it before but here it is again. :D

Heck, you already paid for it Jeff, and LT furnished the Butternut.  You will have to be #2 Mr. McKamey.  That is if I don't see any more of Billy Bob or Joe Bob.

Glad to hear the butternut is going to a good home! ;D  I got a couple more good blanks propping up a work table "down in the barn" now. Still seasoning out I guess... :D Keep "the Bob Boys" down in Virginia...or points not WEST of there! ;)
