Bill

Here is the Cutting Call Bill,
I wanted to see what she looked like anyway.  The Gator will be a little lower profile.  They really do have two different functions when working birds.  I used the grain on this call to get the volume and rasp.  The Gator Gobbling will have the grain running different so the Chatoance really comes through in that myrtle.  That is some fine wood.

Oh, Bill!
You may never see that call in person.  Watch for an old Toyota with blue oil smoke, my friend.  Sounds like the car salesman is lookin' to expand his collection again!

Tom, I will have to make another trip your way a month or so.  I have been putting a lot of mahogany and walnut in a box for you.  It is too small for my boxes but will be just right for scratchers.  I should have a bunch, plus some of my son's front doors for you as well.  I'll  bring your call when I come also.

the call looks great John----sense Tom traded a scratcher and a franklin for mine.....ya take a toyota truck that pours blue smoke and two ninkapoops that will work for very little, fpr that fresh Myrtle  ;)----they are quite resourceful though !!!
Had to try Bill---even a car salesman couldnt do that to ya friend  ;)

Hey Tom, I have some more of that Myrtlewood if you care to give it a try for some scratch boxes. Let me know what size you need.

Bill

Jeff, I have some cut for you, also.

That myrtle aught to make one great sound in those scratchers Tom.  Hold me one after you make Bill one, and that will finish out the trade with the Ben Franklin. *aah*
