Turtle Soup Anyone?

This 148 lb fellow was caught in the bucket of a backhoe on a ditch that a lot of folks hand grab on.   Better be careful of what you are grabbing. :o :o :o

They did tag and return this one to the wild.  Best thing for an old one like this.  He's lived this long, let him live some more.

I watched one about this size or larger on the River Chute where we fish 2 years ago.   He had come to the top out in the middle.  I thought is was an alligator but something was not quite right.  I eased over and he had about a 1lb and half crappie in his mouth.  He swam to the bank to get his feet underneath him to eat his catch.  That is their method of  catching and eating a big fish.
