Old school meets

new tech. I 've been thinking about this for some time and finally got around to trying it. I turned some shafts out of corian for my Softalker barrels and they turned out real nice and best of all they sound great. I changed the name to Softaker out of respect for Roger Parks as he is using the name Tree Talker and I believe he is getting it copy righted. Thanx for the look.  Bill

Thanx guys. Steve this peg makes this caller work so well  The soft talk is so natural with a nice nasal sound to it.  Jeff I'm a call loud and cutt and run guy but the sounds that come from this pair is awesome and may change the way I call for good.  Bill

Bill, They look great man!  I love the soft talker I have and the striker.  Will be in my vest for sure every year.  May change how I call turkeys especially in the early morning and on those still days, late in the morning.  Like Will Primos, I call to much and call to load but that has worked for me.  This call gives me a new weapon for sure.  *up*

Bill, I must have been asleep on the first post, I see you changed the peg in the striker, looks good and I am sure it has enhanced an already great call.  Good luck with them.  I am happy with mine!

Thanx again guys. Bob I'll still use the cedar and  osage pegs as they sound real nice on this call. I had some corian pieces sitting on the bench and had to try turning them to see what they would do in this striker.  Bill
