My answer to the challenge

 I stopped to visit with my good friend Brent Stoner a few weeks ago . While I was there I noticed a small piece of mahogany that Brent had hollowed out . He said that he was trying to make a scratchbox from it . Then he posed a challenge to me and said " Take it home and make something from it ! " .  After staring at it for a few weeks , I finally rose to meet his challenge .
 Here is a new tree-caller that I came up with,  . This little caller ended up sounding better than any of the tree calls in my collection . I added a little bit of mineral poplar , padauk and zebrawood to complete this one . This one actually inspired me to build a new tree-caller that I am going to offer for sale very soon, "The Shady Tree Caller" . It creates very realistic soft yelps and clucks which can be deadly on roosted birds in the morning . If you want to hear it , give me a call !

talked to ole Shadetree today and got to hear that little killer.....got me one ordered now!!!
Dang she's a sweet little tree talker and has that sound ya need ....soft and subtle.....a killer Bob.
Congrats one that neat looking caller and the unique design dude, but BEST of all is the way that little jewell sounds  *bowing*.
Dont forget friend----I want one !!!!! ;D
