For the time being. What a brutal summer this has been.
4 hours of sleep and only the second weekend I've had off all summer = one worn out old man.
I've learned more about phone systems than I ever want to know about in the last week. 61 switches will be swapped out and probably be done in a matter of weeks and not months like I enjoy doing. 1200 phones total (600 will be brand new ones) we will be re-doing thanks to our flood in the phone room.
One thing for sure, when I'm done... I'll have experience in areas I never dreamed I could. Should help my resume a lot. Work is tough, but at least I have a job right now!
Installation of 4 labs, 100 pcs and 30 macs and 2 different mac labs has kept us busy. I've taught myself a bunch about virtualization and I keep motoring on...
Of course I bit the bullet and hired another female too.... I'm going to be crazy training all these new people, but school is quickly approaching and it's time to get busy!!!
Enjoyed the day at Bass Pro at the fall hunting classic with the son. Wanted to do something father/son related before he starts school.
Sorry for not being around, but I haven't forgotten about the site I started. I just have not been around much lately. When I'm at home, I'm sleeping. I did pass out at 6 last night and woke up at 11 this morning. I'd say I was sleepy
